Teddy The Bear
A Story For Anxiety

“I’m So Alone!”
Teddy’s heart beat fast, and he crawled back under his covers. It was the first day of school. Would he remember what he learned last year? Would his friends still like him? Teddy’s mind races with these thoughts all day, and he knows his big feelings are something called anxiety.
Come along with Teddy as he discovers new ways to deal with his fears.

Teddy is not the only one who struggles with feelings of anxiety—many kids, adults, athletes, and famous people also deal with anxiety. Kids are often nervous about school, sports, friends, or family situations.
This book offers ideas for children, parents, and teachers to support kids struggling with anxiety. By working together, we can provide the tools and support needed to help these children lead fulfilling and happy lives, and make the world a more welcoming place for everyone.

Lily and the Fairy Cake

“I’m So Alone!”
In “Lily and the Fairy Cake,” Lily felt different and hid inside her flower in the big green meadow. Lily has Autism Spectrum Disorder and doesn’t know how to make friends. Playing and understanding other fairies was hard. With the help of Bolt and a sprinkled Fairy Cake, Lily learned to trust and celebrate her differences. Lily shared her special gifts and found a friend.
Even though she had a unique brain, Lily was not alone anymore!

This book also provides educational opportunities for peers to learn about differences and make ASD kids’ world more welcoming for everyone.
A Learning Connection for parents and teachers is included to help with background information about ASD and finding support.
